poem 6

Standing at the bay.
Grey skies above and far.
Too much open space for thoughts
To roam.
Waves seem to crash all around.

Tears begin to contour my cheeks.
Thoughts begin to consume my mind.
Like the ways of the waves, they flow
Than crash.

Like a car on a high speed chase.
Feel the wind through your hair
Than all of a sudden, CRASH.

The leaves begin to swirl off the ground
The winds begin to pick up.
It feels as though a presence is there.
Surrounding the perimeters
But, not quite.

The mind goes blank for a moment.
Or maybe two.
Chose to sit down free my legs.
Finally I feel at peace.
